Pendapat Tokoh Berkaitan Dengan Frasa Nama ( Nota Bahasa Melayu Semester 3 Tingkatan 6 )

Pendapat-pendapat pakar tentang definisi frasa juga tidak jauh berbeza antara satu sama lain. Misalnya, Asmah Haji Omar menyatakan frasa adalah unit yang terletak diatas kata dan di bawah klausa. Abdullah Hassan berpendapat frasa sebagai unit yang wujud dalam sistem tatabahasa dan merupakan unit terkecil dalam sintaksis yang terletak di bawah klausa. Kedua-dua definisi ini menjurus kepada satu maksud iaitu tempat frasa ialah di antara klausa dan kata. Dalam bahasa Melayu terdapat beberapa pola ayat dasar yang dinamai pola dasar. Asmah Haji Omar mengemukakan dua sahaja pola dasar iaitu FB + FB dan FB + FK. FB dalam kedua-dua pola itu adalah frasa benda yang merupakan subjek ayat.
